Fall is in the air, and we’re craving pumpkin, cranberry and, of course, apple. Here’s our favorite recipe for brewing a cup of delicious mulled apple cider that’s perfect for sipping on the porch and watching the leaves change.

What You Need:
 - 8 cups apple cider
 - 5 or 6 fresh orange slices
 - 8 or 9 lemon peel slivers
 - 10 whole all-spice berries
 - 8 whole cloves
 - 4 star anise pods
 - 4 cinnamon sticks
 - ¼ cup maple syrup

Step 1: Pour apple cider into large pot and heat over medium-low.

Step 2: Add the orange slices, lemon peel, all-spice, cloves, star anise, cinnamon sticks and maple syrup.

Step 3: Let simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring regularly.

Ladle yourself a generous cup, garnish with lemon peel and a cinnamon stick and serve warm. Enjoy!
